So I cannot compare to other brands but it's a unique supplement.First thing, it does state if you have an allergy to asparagus do not take Shatavari.It also states to take with a full glass of water. Since that is sort of vague, it definitely means to drink a large amount of water. I didn't and it is a strange sensation but it felt like these were growing and expanding since I didn't drink enough water. So don't do that... drink a lot of water!It apparently is also a diuretic and can be dehydrating, so this has added electrolytes.I didn't find there to be any flavor or aftertaste. Outside of not getting enough water while taking them they didn't cause any stomach upset or anything uncomfortable.This is 60 servings at 2 capsules a serving. I love that they added electrolytes like potassium, sodium and magnesium. It says to take 2 capsules per day, and not exceed 4 capsules per day (but the recommended dose is only 2 per day). I take them in the morning with tea, and didn't experience any adverse effects like stomach upset or anything like that. The manufacturer claims that the Shatavari root that is in the capsules is organic, but there's no certification (like USDA organic). There's 120 capsules in the bottle, so it's a 60 day supply. The price is great and I would recommend this supplement, give it a try, just note that you'll need to take it for a while to realize the benefits.
